Refund Policy


Cancellations, exchanges and returns


The following conditions and terms are only applicable to purchases made at www.181Keepers.com . The Customer may cancel his order at any time until it is shipped, with the right to a refund of all amounts paid. Upon receipt of the order by the Customer, he may exercise his right of free termination under the legally established terms and indicated below, namely, in Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14th.

Failure to pay for the order within 4 days following the date on which it was definitively placed implies its automatic cancellation.

Pursuant to the provisions of Decree-Law No. 7/2004 of 7 January (with the amendments conferred by Decree-Law No. 62/2009, of 10 March and Law No. 46/2012, of 29 de Agosto), regarding electronic commerce, 181KEEPERS reserves the right to unilaterally cancel the order whenever there is a programming error, malfunction of the 181KEEPERS computers, as well as the contractual proposal arriving deformed at its destination and the error concerns an essential element of the contract.

Within the scope of its Customer Satisfaction Policy, and in accordance with the applicable legislation, 181KEEPERS allows the exchange or return (termination of the contract) of articles, within 30 days from the date of receipt by the Customer, without payment compensation and without the need to state the reason.

The Customer has the right to terminate the contract without incurring any costs within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the day following the day: (i) on which the Customer or a third party indicated by him, other than the carrier, acquires possession of the good or in the case (ii) in which the Customer or a third party indicated by him, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the last good when the consumer has ordered several goods in a single order and the goods are delivered separately.

In order to exercise their right of free termination, the Customer must communicate, at any 181KEEPERS store or at the 181Keepers.com Customer Support service to the contacts indicated above in Condition 7, their decision to terminate this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g. letter sent by post, fax or email).

If you so wish, the Customer also has the option of completing and submitting electronically the free termination form model or any other unequivocal declaration of termination (see the final part of these Conditions) through the website www.181Keepers.com . If you make use of this possibility, 181KEEPERS will send the Customer within 24 (twenty-four) hours, in a durable medium (for example, by email), an acknowledgment of receipt of the withdrawal request.

In order for the free resolution period to be respected, it is sufficient that your communication regarding the exercise of the right of free resolution is sent to 181KEEPERS before the end of the resolution period.

In the event of termination of this contract, all payments made will be refunded to the Customer, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from the possible choice of a shipping method other than the less expensive normal shipping method offered by 181KEEPERS), without undue delay and, in any case, at the latest within 14 (fourteen) days from the date on which 181KEEPERS is informed of the Customer's decision to terminate this contract.

With a view to speeding up the refund process, it will be carried out by bank transfer, within a maximum period of 7 days from the date on which 181KEEPERS was informed of its decision to terminate the contract.

181KEEPERS hereby informs that it may withhold the refund until it has received the returned goods, or until the customer presents proof of sending the goods, whichever occurs first.

The Customer must return the goods, without undue delay and no later than 14 (fourteen) days from the day on which he informed 181KEEPERS of the free termination of the contract, considering that the same is respected if the Customer returns the goods before the expiry of this period of 14 (fourteen) days.

The Customer must fully bear the costs of returning the goods in the event of exercising the right of free termination of the contract. In the case of returning goods that, by their nature, cannot normally be returned by mail, the Customer must bear the direct costs of said return, which are associated with the shipping costs shown in the order shipping cost table.

If you wish to exchange items, the Customer can go to any 181KEEPERS store, or contact 181Keepers.com Customer Support, which will provide you with all the information about the exchange process. The Customer must not, under any circumstances, send the articles to 181KEEPERS without having made a prior contact, as they will not be received.

When returning and exchanging items, the Customer must respect the following conditions:

• Return of items in good condition, with complete original packaging and accompanied by the respective receipt or original invoice;
• Exchanges or returns of personalized items are not accepted.
• 181KEEPERS does not accept the return or exchange of these items after they have been used.

After contacting Customer Support 181Keepers.com. and you are given the return instructions, you can send us the item properly packaged, with original packaging to the following address:

All items will be checked upon arrival at our service and only those that respect the return conditions will be accepted for exchange or return.

In case of return, if the Customer chooses to refund the amount, 181KEEPERS informs that:

• Reimbursement is made via bank transfer. 181KEEPERS asks the Customer to provide him with an IBAN so that the return takes place more quickly.
• In the event of having received damaged items or with technical problems, 181KEEPERS will bear the value of the shipment through the CTT. The articles, after indicating a response to the above by letter or email, will be given an indication to send the articles in the form of postage on collection, without any charges for the Customer.
• Refunds will only be made after checking the condition of the product.
• 181KEEPERS reserves the right not to accept articles that do not comply with these conditions.
